This poster demonstrates a man holding a sword with his other arm around his wife and child. The attended audience is towards men who have a family and that would do anything to help keep them safe. As the man is holding his family he is holding a form of protection for his family, demonstrating how Germany's involvement in war is in need of support from all that can offer. The propaganda poster is persuading the men to buy war loans in order to keep their family safe and happy, while at the same time they are supporting the German soldiers. The translation of words say "War loans help the guardians of your happiness" portraying that war loans are best way to go to protect all loved ones during war. Support is well needed and this imagery usage of family touches one's heart and makes them think more whether they should help or not. The man in the poster is holding a sword which can represent protection and bravery because he is defending the people he love against the enemies. The publisher of this propaganda was not found but it was said to be a WWI recruitment poster.
This propaganda was effective because it made the men of Germany determined to protect the ones they love and support their country.
